Norwegian Prima and the Family

A Perfect Spring Break Getaway Aboard the Norwegian Prima! Our family—my husband, daughter, and I—had an incredible vacation aboard the Norwegian Prima, and we’re already counting down to our next cruise with Norwegian!

From start to finish, the experience felt elevated and relaxed. Embarkation was a breeze, taking just 15 minutes, and our stateroom was ready by 2 PM with our luggage delivered shortly after. The ship itself is stunning, with thoughtful, luxurious touches that set it apart from other mainstream cruise lines. Even during a busy spring break season, it never felt overcrowded.

We explored exciting ports including Costa Maya, Harvest Caye, Roatan, and Cozumel. While our horseback riding tour in Roatan was canceled due to weather, we had a great time browsing local shops, sipping fresh coconut, and enjoying what may have been the best ceviche we’ve ever had! My husband and daughter especially loved the zip-lining adventure in Belize. We chose to stay onboard in Cozumel and Costa Maya, enjoying quiet, sun-soaked afternoons by the infinity pools.

The onboard activities were a blast—water slides, table tennis, pickleball, and more kept us entertained. I treated myself to a poultice massage at the spa, which was absolutely heavenly.

While the main dining room didn’t quite meet our expectations, the specialty restaurants and buffet were fantastic. I highly recommend upgrading to the priority pass—having breakfast delivered to our room each morning was such a treat!Overall, our cruise was the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and family fun. We can’t wait to sail again—Spring Break 2026 on the Norwegian Viva is already on our calendar!
